Let it go. Let it slide.
You can never keep it inside.
Allow me to share to you a habit.
During my idle moments, I find myself staring into space. When I am spaced out, streams of quick thoughts are unconsciously running in my head. Once i become aware that i’ve paused and unconsciously allowed my mind to wander, I pause and say the last random thought out loud before it drifts away. And then I try to trace back how it got to my thoughts by identifying the previous topic related to that thought until I reach the first thought, which, is usually triggered by something physical in my environment. A tv commercial, a bag, pillow, a color, a sound. I try to measure how fast my thoughts run. About more than ten different subjects may be encountered in a few seconds. What a surprise!
Try it. Let your mind wander and then trace back your train of thought. Human minds are amazing.

Housemates were unusually up early last Sunday for the AK photoshoot. At 9am, we headed to UP Film Center to shoot our new model, our housemate Kalai.
Everything was impromptu. Akilla also became part of some of the shots. After the actual shoot, housemates fooled around and did some model shots:

We deliberated the best photos over lunch at Chocolate Kiss. The chosen ones were shown at AK’s booth at UP Repertory Company’s play, Hello Philippines staged at the Media Center of the College of Mass Communication.
Watch out for Ananda Kanani’s new line of accessories coming this September!
We were commissioned by the Sumo Sam Group to create ceiling artworks for Mr Kurosawa, a Euro-Japanese Restaurant located at the new Eastwood Mall in Libis. We were given old Japanese images as pegs. Half of the images were illustrated traditionally with the use of pencil, pen, watercolor and then manipulated digitally. Half of them were created and manipulated straight digitally with the use of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
The ceiling artworks played a great part in the artistic ambience of the restaurant. This concept along with the over-all theme and look of the store was conceptualized by Sumo Sam’s Ricky Laudico.

Here’s a preview of my shoot with Miki Hahn this afternoon. The rest of the photos are currently undergoing minor post-processing. Miki, Tita Annie and their team are really great to work with. We had fun during the shoot and it didn’t feel like work at all. Watch out for Miki’s album to be out soon. CD will be designed by my good friend, Sid Santos.
